About the owner Kate Sheldrick:
Kate is a native New York City gal who has a background in food & hospitality. She co-owned a restaurant in Brooklyn and worked in the natural wine industry for many years--making people feel taken care of is part of her bloodline. After selling the restaurant and leaving NYC to move to Bucks County, she started studying herbalism. This opened a portal of new flavors/scents/textures to play with and she went deep down the rabbit hole. She has studied and worked with various herbalists including Locust Light Farm, Bluestem Botanicals, Asia Suler, Sage Maurer & the Gaia School of Healing and is currently in a three-year long apprenticeship with Robin Rose Bennett. She spent two years formulating and testing recipes and with the support of her friends & family, Palmarosa was born. She grows many of the plants used in her products in her herb garden and is committed to sourcing the best possible ingredients for her products. This means you can actually read the ingredients on the labels and know what you are putting on your skin. Studying herbalism and spending time with the plants felt like returning home and it quickly became her mission to create products that facilitate growth and self-love. Kate creates seasonal self-care products in addition to the Palmarosa staples and is constantly coming up with new products & rituals to help people feel their best.
